Magical Moment with Michael Faulkner

Michael Faulkner has written two books about island life and Strangford Lough.

The Blue Cabin, Living by the Tides on Islandmore (Blackstaff press, 2006) described his arrival in 2002 with artist wife Lynn McGregor and their two terriers, on the otherwise uninhabited island of Islandmore, on Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland.

Michael’s follow-up book on island living, Still On The Sound, A Seasonal Look at Island Life, published in October 2009 in hardcover, with over two hundred of the author’s own colour photographs, carries on where The Blue Cabin left off, taking a look in words and images at four seasons of island life.
