Strangford go
t its name form the Vikings (strang-fjord) over 1000 years ago. It is a small, picturesque village. There is a tower house near the harbour.
Strangford is linked to Portaferry on the other side of Strangford Lough, by a ferry service that runs every half hour (weather permitting).
